We had an outreach yesterday in a neighborhood that is very impoverished. Prostitutes, drug addicts, drug dealers, and alcoholics roam the area. Something that was very strange for me was coming into contact with four different people that were deaf and mute. We had the outreach on two vacant lots that are owned by Scott & Robin Durrance. They are right across the street from the biggest crack and prostitute house in the neighborhood. 
We served polish sausages, hot dogs, chips, pop and cold water. We were also blessed to receive a call from our friend Jim @ Watson's Produce. Jim blesses us with all types of fruit and vegetables along with other things. Yesterday Pastor Troy took part of the team and picked up a large amount of milk along with vegetables to distribute to the people in the neighborhood.

Eileen and Deb pray over Brittany. We attempted to pick her up for church this morning but she had an excuse as to why she couldn't go. It was just the devil!
This is Griffin, he told of how he had followed Jesus in the past but had slipped away. He is wearing a hat that I gave him that was too small to fit my big head. He was very happy to get it and most of all he was happy to get that flame ignited to get back with Jesus.
I think about the kids above living in this neighborhood. What if we do not reach them for Jesus? They will end up just like most of the adults in the neighborhood. What if we do not get serious about this and pray for God to move in these type of situations. Can you imagine the little girls turning into prostitutes like many walking past these kids daily?? Can you imagine the little guys selling crack on these streets? That is what is happening all around this world because we as so called Christians do not pray. This is what is happening because we won't hunger for the same power that miracles were accomplished in the Bible. This is what will happen if we do not get our eyes off ourselves and focus on what the Lord really wants us to do.
Look into this ones little eyes and just think of her growing up to be a prostitute. She was so sweet and so out going. If we don't reach the little ones I know without a doubt that the devil will!! This goes for wherever you live. We have to reach the younger ones to be able to change this world for Jesus. Most of the older ones are sitting in the pews drying up on the vine. We must pray for the power of God to hit these streets!! We must get outside of the church walls if we aren't already. These people are not going to show up at your church doors. There are churches everywhere in this neighborhood. In many cases you have sheep that are taking care of the shepherd. What I am saying is that you have a lazy guy that preaches messages for the sheep to give their money to the church so that he can go buy a Chrysler 300 and put big rims on it as in one so called pastors church in this neighborhood. He looks more like a pimp for the devil than a man of God. I look forward to a face to face discussion with him in the future.
