The sign tells it all, masses of youth today could care less about a relationship with Jesus. The sad part is that most youth that profess to have a relationship could care less about the masses going to hell. We talk to so many every weekend that make excuses and try to justify their sin. If something is not done what will the kids of these youth be like. As I made a statement to a group of youth last night "you are either living your lives for Jesus or you are living it for the devil", one college age guy said "I am living mine for the God damn devil". I said "man, that will send you straight to hell" and his comment was "F" it! What is going on in the homes to make the youth this way? Part of the problem is the "American dream" of sending youth to college to get with these professors that are OF THE DEVIL!!! I am sure that there are some that are good but many are trashing these kids minds with evolution and other junk. Then they listen to devils like Oprah that fill their minds with new age trash.
Another young man named Zack started to walk by Eileen and I when Eileen stopped him. He had orange hair, a green mask, a demonic shirt, and a pacifier in his mouth. Eileen started talking to him about Jesus and she may as well of been talking in a foreign language. He stated that he had heard of Jesus and that he was in a church once but that was for a wedding. He was totally lost and didn't think it was a big deal????? Please pray for Zack that he would come to know Jesus.
There were several groups of guys that would be staring at the skimpy dressed girls. I would go up behind them and tell them "the Bible says that if a man even looks at woman with lustful thoughts that he has committed adultery in his heart. Some would look at me like I was crazy and others would be serious and say "you got me". Those I would be able to share the Word with them and tell them that we need guys their age to proclaim the Word of God. Tell them that there generation must rise up for Jesus and quit letting the devil control their lives.
There was a homosexual that passed us and said that there is a place for what we are doing and it isn't here. I told him that the Bible says that we are to go into all the world and that this is part of the world. He became more upset and I told him the only reason that he is upset is because of that spirit that he is carrying around. Please pray for this young man that he would quit listening to this lie of the devil, repent of his sin and get right with Jesus.
There was Kayla, a beautiful 19 year old girl that was intoxicated and said that she chooses the clubs over Jesus because she wants to enjoy her life. She said that she has her whole life to get to know Jesus. We shared with her that none of us are promised tomorrow. She too seemed to not care and said that she was going to have a good time in the club. She is lost and on her way to hell. Please pray for Kayla that she would repent and get right with Jesus.
There was a cab driver that had pulled over and was watching and listening to us minister to people. He called out to us and told us that he had a relationship with Jesus in the past. He showed us some "Christian books" that he had with him in the cab. They were books that were supposedly helping him with some issues he was dealing with. We told him that we did not know anything about the books but we did know about the Bible and that he should cling to it. Not saying that all books are bad but there is alot of junk out there today. He left and later came back and said that he wanted to talk to us some more. We ended up praying over him after he shared with us about abusing prescription medications and a recent crack problem. He has our contact information and we will be talking to him again on Wednesday. Please pray for Del.
There was a white haired man that had came out of a strip joint that I asked him if he just came out of Lollipops (I knew he did) and I told him that the place would lead him straight to hell. He would not even turn back around. It is amazing how many men and women frequent that hell hole.
There was a group of young college guys that were passing us and headed in the direction of the strip joint. I said "hey guys are you headed for Lollipops"? They said "yes, do you have some coupons or something"? I said I sure do and I started to open up my Bible case as they eagerly awaited. I opened the Word to Matthew 5:28 and told them what the Word says about looking at a woman with lustful thoughts. Some of them were hit but they continued on.
Our highlight of the night was Zironna. She was walking with two other girls that were dressed very seductive. I made the statement again that "you are either living your life for Jesus or you are living it for the devil". Zironna was struck and as Eileen ministered to the other two I started talking to Zironna and she stated that she was not saved but she went to church with her grandma. I told her of the danger of what she was doing as her friends walked toward the club. Eileen joined in and we ended up praying for a very struck Zironna. As we prayed her friends returned and we were able to pray for all of them. Please pray for Zironna and her friends that they would be the ones that would stand up and proclaim the gospel for Jesus.
A highlight of church today was Christy (a 22 year old member of this ministry that was out on the streets last night with us) when she stood up before the church and said that she must be one of this generation that will stand up for Jesus. She asked to be held accountable to do that. Christy is just one of many that must stand up. They listen to us but it will be so effective coming from their same age group. Today's churches need to throw the video games in the trash and equip their youth to reach the lost before it is too late!!!
