Daytona Adopt A Block

We had the back of the van loaded with bread, bagels, and pastries to hit the block with. The team consisted of Holly, Judah, Josiah, Hope, Sue and Eileen and I. We have to thank Panera Bread, Starbucks, and The Bagel Deli (Mike & his employees) for making it possible to distribute food to those in need.
The is a rehab in the neighborhood and that is where I met Paul. Paul is very interested in joining the "Daytona Team" in the near future.
Holly and Hope ministered to this lady from the rehab house.
Josiah and Hope helping with the food distribution.
Eileen ministering on the streets.

We have not officially started the adopt-a-block here but we are starting to work in the neighborhood. We are handing out food and starting to meet and build relationships with some of the people. Here we are working with people that are trying to make it opposed to working with the homeless that so many are not interested in a different life.
